Oh,
I'm glad you're back. I hope you got some support around the birth. I'm sorry it was so difficult. Hang in.

oh boo, way to rain on my parade! :-P I really like the guy...at least what I know of him so far. For the first time it's felt like not choosing between the lesser of two evils, but instead voting for a candidate you really actually like.

But then, he's a politician. Politicans are always politicians. "good" is always actually shades of gray. Maybe I am still "playing the game", but I do feel like I have to make a choice. It's either that or not have any say in the matter at all, which is untenable to me. I won't throw away my vote and then watch Republicans hijack our country for another 4 years of terror, and I still prefer him to Hillary, or any of the other candidates. Ominous, what you're sayiing, though, about the republicans flocking to him for blatantly republican reasons.

Glad you weighed in, though. I knew you'd have an opinion on the "Amerikkkan" primaries. ;-) I'll go check out your blog asap.

Wasn't actually sick, just had a very difficult birth which totally robbed me of my will to blog for awhile. I'm still not sure if I'll write about it here, but it feels good to be picking up the pieces again.

Hope you're well!

Hee, hee, hee!

I'm glad you're back. I was starting to worry that your illness was more major than it initially seemed.

Obama?

If you have any free time, I've got a google search device near the bottom of my sidebar. I've been writing about him and his "change". I know it seems as if people have to vote for someone. That's part of the game. They offer a choice that's not actually a choice at all. Just the same regime updated, tidied up, in this case darkened in order to have a particular kind of mass appeal that manipulates. It's not sweet, really. Neither him nor Hilary are attractive. There's very good reason why conservative Republicans are flocking to him and it's not because he'll unite the country behind "change", it's because they know what he'll do once he gets in.
