Congratulations - what an amazing day.
I've never posted before, but I am a long time reader and so so pleased for you.
Good luck with the job hunting, though I'm sure you wont need it, and keep on blogging (please).

OMG OMG OMG! Congratulations! What an exciting graduation story! It's been such a long journey and you've done it (blogging all the way!) I am so proud of you and happy for you! You will surely conquer the boards (study, study, study) I am finally finishing my first year of a similar program and I am so encouraged now! (PS: I'm studydin in the north east, but I'm from Nebraska, what a coincidence!)

Congratulations!

Please post about the job hunt and the climate for new grads as you search!

It truly is awesome! Thank you all so much for reading, and for all of your support through this 2 year adventure. Sounds an awful lot like birth indeed! I just found out today that a friend I went to school with passed her board exams today; she is now a Certified Midwife. OMG! I'm so happy for her. I can't wait to get there too! And good luck to all the rest of you who are still in the middle of this. You'll get here as well, before you know it. Enjoy the sensation of having a preceptor watching your back while you've still got it; being a student really is a very, very special time in your life.

Your description of your thoughts when sitting during the speeches reminded me of my graduation and how proud I felt. It's awesome!

Hi gnm!
I've read your blog for a little while, and wanted to come out of the woodwork to say congratulations! and that is one hell of a graduation story.
I can only imagine how amazing it must feel to have graduated. While the thought of not having a preceptor behind my back is still scary, I am really looking forward to getting to where you are.
Good luck on the boards! And I hope you find a great job!

Is it just me, or was that incredibly similar to your chosen profession?
Changes in schedule.
Shifting where you are going and how you get there.
Running a marathon...
Getting there in time to be a part of the most important thing....
dunno... sounds a bit like birth to me.

Congratulations! Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy....
